Korean courses

The one-week course Korean Now! is aimed at business people who want to gain a solid insight into the Korean language and culture in a very short time.

Korean 1 is a Korean language course for beginners with little or no previous knowledge. The course offers basic phrases in simple and everyday standard situations including introducing yourself, ordering something to eat and drink, buying snacks in the convenience store and arranging a date. At the end of the course, you will have an elementary insight into Korean culture and the peculiarities of Korean English.

Korean 2 is a Korean language course for beginners with good previous knowledge. At the end of the course, you will be able to communicate appropriately in standard situations at work and in everyday life, and you will have gained an insight into the Korean working day both linguistically and culturally.  

Korean 3 is a Korean language course for advanced beginners. The texts and dialogues are as authentic as possible, the length and complexity offer a good preparation for the colloquial and standard language realities in Korea. At the end of the course, you will be able to communicate and act appropriately in all essential standard situations at work and in the everyday life of an expat in Korea.  

Korean super-intensive is a Korean language course for beginners with little or no previous knowledge. The course is designed for students who want to prepare for a semester abroad at a South Korean university. At the end of the course, you will be able to introduce yourself in Korean and communicate appropriately in simple and everyday standard situations. You will know the everyday life of Korean students and can orientate yourself on campus. You will have an elementary insight into Korean culture and the peculiarities of Korean English.

The topic of the two-day seminar “Regional and Intercultural Preparation – South Korea” is social, political and socio-economic developments as well as cultural standards and behaviour in the workplace. The seminar prepares the participants for a stay in Korea in terms of regional and intercultural knowledge.

The Korean Pop-up Course is designed for pupils (Year 9 onwards) who would like to get a first insight into Korean and are looking for a course during the school holidays.

The Korean Start-up is designed especially for students who are thinking of studying Korean or are considering a semester abroad in Korea.
