German as a foreign language
A new type of highly intensive language courses in German as a foreign language with 8 - 10 hours of language training per day is a new field of activity for the Landesspracheninstitut. The offer is initially aimed at Russian and Chinese students who are studying German studies, intercultural communication or translation studies in their home countries. The language course contents are tailored to these target groups and cover the levels A2 - B1/B2. The language training also covers the field of foreign language translation. The eLearning programme already existing in the field of German as a foreign language is thus rounded off and supplemented in terms of content and function. Foreign applicants or students wishing to take up a course of study at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum are referred to the DaF department of the Centre for Foreign Language Training.
